The original (2011) contours were generated by NZ Aerial Mapping using interpolation from a TIN formed using a ground classified LiDAR point cloud dataset. The data was in ESRI 3D shape polyline file format and the features were attributed with the fields ELEVATION [m above Vertical Datum] and DATUM [Moturiki 1953], with further fields added for moduli.<\/SPAN><\/P> The 2016/2017 data supply from AAM was generated photogrammetrically for areas where change was detected from the earlier data; it had the same attribution, but further fields were added for SOURCE, DATE (of supply), dateStart and dateEnd.<\/SPAN><\/P> New contours replacing 2011 contours are tagged with a new dateStart value; the deprecated 2011 contours are tagged with the relevant dateEnd value - included in the parent dataset but excluded from this dataset.<\/SPAN><\/P> NOTE: This dataset has also been simplified from the original 1m dataset using Douglas 01 interpolation.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
